Elani hops, previously available only to a select few as YQH-1320 have been publicly released. Tim Sattler from Yakima Quality Hops found this hop growing wild on a hiking trip in northern Idaho. He observed it for several years noting its unique clean and bright character. You can expect big citrus notes and nice tropical and stone fruit flavor paired with aroma of pineapple, guava, lime, white peach, and orange zest. Hidden undertones of dank resin, papaya, and juicy fruit might make this the best single hop beer you ever brewed. The genetics of this hop show it to be unique and a patent is pending. There are currently only 60 acres under cultivation and supply is limited to what was grown this season.
